About Us
The idea of making comfortable and funky kids clothing originated from the difficulty of finding such clothing in high street stores for my baby, who was born in 2013. I loved seeing my little guy wear all the colourful outfits, and it gave me peace of mind to know he was cozy in his clothes.
Realising that I wasn't the only one struggling to find vibrant and multicoloured clothes that would allow my children to play and explore the world freely, I decided to make outfits for sale. So Cotton Caterpillars was born. The inspiration behind the brand comes from my two gorgeous kids, Darragh and Oisin.
Darragh suffered from eczema and it was extremely hard to find clothes that didn't irritate him. I then decided to use GOTS cert organic cotton materials only. His eczema cleared out in the next couple of months.

Grow with Baby collection: are full of must have products for any Mums. As the baby grows, the clothes elongate and magically transform like all good caterpillars. The cuffs are designed to allow the clothes to grow in length as the baby stretches and continues to look cool and funky. The bib can be adjusted in length and grows with the baby, saving you money, and saving the environment too. The harem pants are cute and comfortable and very convenient. Soft knitted organic waistband is very gentle on a baby's sensitive stomach. The cozy blanket, or the "blanket of love", handmade with child friendly printed organic cotton and backed with butter soft organic cotton for warmth and coziness. Perfect gift for a new baby, toddler and beyond. It can be used as a blanket, wrap or play mat and likely to eventually find its way into the keepsake box. organic cotton and low impact dyes, good for baby's skin and the environment!

Cotton Caterpillars are designed AND made in Ireland. Our products are made for little ones who love exploring. I used my experience of being a mom of two children to carefully design and create each piece that was put to the test by my two kids. These products will make life easier to any parents.
Sustainable Approach
Cotton Caterpillars is an ethical irish brand, sourcing the highest quality organic materials from the Eu. It is important to us to use materials that have low impact on the environment, safe for our children. We are using organic materials that are 95% organic cotton, and 5% elastane, printed using low impact dyes. Why Organic? Growing organic cotton produces up to 94% less greenhouse gas emissions. It is safe for farmers, the fertilising process does not contain chemicals and pesticides.
Also We are teaching our children to REUSE the clothes as well. and encourage customers to pass them down through generations.
